some old practice hair put ups,
Hair roses made with pin curling.
This was my most recent practice piece and I think I have improved with the pins to keep them hidden. I enjoyed creating this piece and love the texture of the hair and I had hilighted the practice head to give the hair up more depth.
My 1st hair up.
as it is clear to see the tops of grips are clear to see and needed to be hidden, the ends of the curls needed to be created a little better, however I think it has a nice shape and again lovely texture
this is a close up detail of my 1st hair up and I do love the crossing of the hair and the
smoothness to the crossing over.
A real head piece to try to create a sturdy style.
I created this to see if I could crate looks on a real head and to make a sturdy and supported look. I took the pin curled roses look from the 50s up dos and tried to create a modern look with the braiding.
the pins are showing a little but with a hard colour hair to match pins, could have been a little smother but I did enjoy the end result to this put up.

Friday's shoot
I so enjoyed the last fashion shoot with loveclothing.com (loveclothing.com) and now get to rejoin the team on Friday. I feel I need to improve in this shoot the smoothness and structure of the hair, but I can't wait to get back on to the set and work hard for the company.
I also cant wait to see the lovely clothes that loveclothing.com have to shoot this time as there were some fantastic pieces in the last shoot.
I will post on Friday to inform all on how the shoot goes with all the lovely people at

A quick over view of my career so far.
I am starting this blog to keep an on line document of my work and so that others can see the work I love to be involved in. also to give credit to all the other companies and people I have worked with though this last 2-3 years.
Starting off my career was the very lovely time at Toni and Guy which I had pursued for around 1 year and 6 months. this was a fun and stressful time packed full of inspiration and hard work. As most will say you start from the bottom of a company and work up from that, it became clear what that meant when starting as an apprentice in the salon. Although hard and sometimes very hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, I loved each and every minute of the job and had some grate times and met lots of lovely people.
Leaving was hard but I have made the most of getting qualified and hope to be a hard working stylist, i always think that all things happen for a reason and hope that leaving the Toni and Guy was the right thing to do for me at that time and although I loved the company I am seeking employment in a new city which played a factor in why I left.
With the blog I am creating I hope to show my inspiration and work of my own, whilst giving a look in to my career.
